Charity is broken into for second time this week

The local charity Friendship Zone was targeted for the second time in a matter of weeks when some local criminals broke in and stole 5 laptops from the premises in early hours of the 7th of January. It was first targeted just over a week ago when they had a brick thrown through the building smashing the glass door of the charity. The second time the door was completely smashed off and nearly all of the computer equipment was stolen. The perpetrators were spotted by a vigilante who thankfully contacted the police who were then hot on their trail. It is believed that the same criminals planned both attacks, the first being a test attack.

With amazing efforts from the police and the helpful caller the police rounded the perpetrators and they were arrested. Fortunately all the computer equipment was returned to the charity who can now continue with their work.

The Friendship Zone is the brainchild of director Paul Kuznecovs, and its purpose is to promote friendship and help people to achieve their dreams. With regards to the attack, Mr Kuznecovs comments were “I could not believe how impudent the criminals were. Thanks God they have been arrested and all the computer equipment have been returned so I charity can carry on its very important for local community work. On behalf of Friendship Zone and personally I would love to thank all the people involved into spotting and apprehending the perpetrators!"

The charity works with Future Job Fund which helps reduce unemployment among youngsters. It provides them with various trainings and in turn helps them run and manage the Friendship Zone. The charity has only been involved with this initiative for two month and it has trained 15 youngsters in effort to get them back into work.

The Friendship Zone Charity is currently continuing its single objective to help people in and around Northamptonshire to achieve their dreams. They are currently looking to expand Friendship Zone’s number of users so that they are able to interact, converse and make more friends.
